Cypress, CA - July 13, 2014 – Morning fog is a dominant feature at Mazda Raceway Laguna…and so was a Blue Hayes on Sunday afternoon as three-time AMA Pro SuperBike Champion Josh Hayes dominated the field to win his fourth SuperBike race in a row aboard his #4 Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha YZF-R1.

The first to admit that Josh was the man of the meet was his teammate, AMA SuperBike rookie, who also ran a strong race to finish second and put a tandem of R1 SuperBikes in the winner’s circle.

“What a beautiful day!” Josh said after celebrating his victory and adding more points onto what is now a 40-point lead over Cameron, who moved up to second place in the Championship standings. “It’s never as easy as it looks, and I could feel Cam behind me. I felt like a rabbit being chased a little bit, but I just concentrated on hitting my marks and running clean laps. I’m happy to get the win, especially in front of Cam because we all know how fast he is. I’ve got to thank my Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team for everything. I love those guys, and they always give me the best bike out there.”
