Started in 1996, the FIM ASIA ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP is a series rotating among the Asian countries that are driving today’s global motorcycle market. Unlike the national championships organized by the federations of each country, the ASIA ROAD RACING CAMPIONSHIP is controlled directly by FIM.
Along with the riders from Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand who have come to the fore, many riders have begun to participate from Australia, China, India, the Philippines and Taiwan as well, making the ASIA ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP literally a series where riders representing the countries of “Asia” can contest for the status the “No.1 Asian Rider”.
